During the cold winter months at their farm in Upstate New York, the beehives are buried in deep snowdrifts and the bees clustered in hibernation.  The beekeeper’s wanted to be reminded that their surrounding fields would turn green, the garden flowers would bloom, and the activity of making honey would start.  I tiled the bathroom with standard 4x4 inch white tile leaving spaces for inserting bee and flower mosaics.
